Weather has been a fascination of mine for the majority of my life. In fact I’m currently going to college for a degree in broadcast Meteorology. But I digress. It all started in May of 1998 when the city I live in was struck by an F-3 tornado. Ever since then, I’ve watched the forecasts closely, and noted what the meteorologists on TV do. In 8th grade, I became a Weather watcher for a local TV news station. Being a weather watcher requires me to report weather conditions for the city I live in, as well as any precipitation, if we’ve had any. I can also submit pictures and tell of any storm damage. It’s really fun. You can also be a weather watcher for your local National Weather Service (NWS) office, which basically call you to do the same stuff I do, but it may be more in depth. I’m not a weather watcher for the NWS, just the local news station.
Anyway, this section doesn’t have much in the way of things now, but expect this section to gradually grow over time...
